Please join Marc Meglio, CDLP® with the Divorce Lending Association as he interviews Mediator, Yvonne Shoff. 

Attorney Yvonne M. Shoff has a longstanding commitment to legal competence and compassionate guidance to families transitioning through divorce or legal separation.  She has dedicated her family law practice to peaceful and collaborative solutions with the goal of preserving families and communities.  Attorney Shoff is a professional mediator and collaborative family law attorney with a 40-hour basic mediation certificate from Moore Resolutions through UCONN and Quinnipiac University Law schools.  She earned a divorce mediation certificate through Mediation Matters, LLC.  She successfully completed the Collaborative and Advanced Collaborative Divorce Training with the Vancouver Group.  She attends ongoing training in family law, mediation and collaborative practice including High Conflict Issues in Mediation with Bill Eddy. 

 After graduating with a B.A. in Justice, Law & Society from American University in 1991 and a J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1997, she clerked for a family law judge in the Bridgeport Superior Court.   She was admitted to the CT Bar in November 1997.  Currently, she is a Member and Co-President of the Connecticut Collaborative Divorce Group, Member of Connecticut Council for Non- Adversarial Divorce, and a Member of the International Association of Collaborative Professionals.   Attorney Shoff is also serves as Part Time Faculty at Quinnipiac University School of Law and volunteers as a coach, judge, and guest mediator for the ABA Competitions in the fields of Client Counseling, Negotiation and Mediation in an Advocacy Setting.
