Divorce Lending Association
Please join Ida Reis, CDLP® with the Divorce Lending Association as she interviews Family Law Attorney, Tracey Perrick.

After working for several prestigious family law firms in central Maryland, most recently as a Partner at a well-known firm in Columbia and Annapolis, Tracey decided to establish her own family law practice in Howard County, Maryland in July 2020. Tracey has many years of experience as a family law attorney and litigator. She handles an array of domestic family matters across central Maryland including but not limited to divorce, custody, alimony, child support, property settlements, domestic violence, contempt of court actions, post-judgment issues, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

Tracey believes each client and each case deserves time, attention, and an understanding of the unique family dynamics at play. She is passionate about helping clients find family-focused resolutions without the need for litigation. However, if contested litigation is necessary, Tracey has significant courtroom and litigation experience, and will zealously represent her clients in court during all stages of the litigation process.

Tracey’s passion is helping her clients achieve family-focused results that are tailored to each client’s individual needs. In order to achieve such results, Tracey takes the time to develop a relationship with each client she represents to ensure that each client feels heard, understands all legal options available to him or her, and is able to make an informed decision. Tracey is an experienced advocate in all alternative dispute resolution methods – mediation, settlement negotiations, and collaborative law. Tracey is a trained collaborative attorney.

However, if your case must proceed to court, Tracey has a well-earned reputation as a smart and fierce litigator, often handling complex, high-conflict cases. She also routinely represents children who are embroiled in high-conflict divorce and family law cases in the Circuit Court for Howard County.

Tracey is the Co-Chair of the Howard County Bar Association Family Law Section and is a volunteer for the Howard County Circuit Court Family Law Assistance Program. Tracey is trained and has been appointed by the Circuit Court for Howard County to serve as an attorney appointed to represent children in high conflict family matters. She is a member of the Maryland State and Howard County Bar Associations.
