Theresa Beran Kulat stands for healthy relationships. Working as a divorce mediator and Collaborative lawyer, she has been helping families heal through the end of a marriage. Along the way, she began holding space for couples who didn’t want their marriage to end – but who wanted to take it to a new level. To support those people, she offers “Intentional Relationship Design” for couples who want to level up their relationship. She recognizes that many of us did not get training in relating.
Hope, Peace, Joy, and Freedom are all possible as a couple redefines “Family.”
She is a Fellow of Collaborative Divorce Illinois, having held many leadership positions including President in 2016 and 2017. She also belongs to the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and the Illinois State Bar Association.
Theresa received a B.A. in Economics from John Carroll University and her J.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has mastery level training the TantraNova Institute and Quantum Healing training in The Rowley Method.
Her writing credits include: “Holistic Divorce: An Opportunity for Transformation”, published in Stress-Free Divorce and the “Collaborative Process Act Chapter” in Gitlin on Divorce. She provides training and public speaking on a variety of topics including personal growth and development.
